Our Classes & Lessons
Fast Track
Have you been curious about fencing? Start with "Fast Track". We recommend signing up for Fast Track and receive three fencing lessons from Coach Nancy before joining any of our beginner programs. Starting with Fast Track prepares you with basic footwork for distance, hand-eye coordination and an introduction to fencing etiquette. We will go over a few strip rules, discuss safety and good sportsmanship. You'll know then if you 're interested in more. These three lessons will give an overview of what to expect in future classes. Please register today!

The Beginner program is the natural progression for the recently completed fast track student and for a new fencer who jumps right in. This class focuses on foundational footwork and blade technique. Take beginner classes until you're ready to move into the novice group. We recommend repeating the beginner class as many times as you like and signing up for twice a week. Novice
The Novice class builds on your foundational skills and provides a myriad of challenges for your body and mind. Regular practice will help refine your skills. Fencing is a tactical game and thinking fast is emphasized in preparation for competition. We recommend repeating this class until a firm grasp is reached with confidence.
The novice fencer is required to have a PFC Club membership and personal gear. Select from our entry level Associate membership or our Maestro level membership which includes a 1:1 lesson per week. Lessons are the best method of training and tailored towards the individual fencer. Each class session is two months in duration.
